  60.      The selection pulls up the on-line "Special Key" help
  61.      screens.  The screens give help on all Function, ALT, and
  62.      Ctrl key combinations that are currently implemented in
  63.      XPCOM.  The special key screen is MODE sensitive, meaning,
  64.      that only those keys active in the current operating mode
  65.      are shown.

  67.      Press the 'ESC' to exit the Special Keys screen or press the
  68.      desired special key sequence.  The key sequence will be
  69.      performed after the window has been removed from the screen.

  107.          As with anything in life problems can occur during the
  108.          operation of XPCOM.  One of the most common problems is
  109.          an inadequate amount of FILE and BUFFERS space.

  111. FILES and BUFFERS

  113.          For proper operation of XPCOM FILES and BUFFERS should
  114.          be set to the following values in your CONFIG.SYS file.

  116.                     FILES   = 30
  117.                     BUFFERS = 20

  119. HARDWARE CONSIDERATIONS
  120.  
  121.          Remember XPCOM was designed for use with hardware
  122.          handshaking.  What this means is that virtually all of
  123.          the RS-232 lines are used during operation.  Be sure
  124.          that your cable supports the CTS, DTR, RI and CARRIER
  125.          DETECT Lines, as well as the normal RD,TD, and
  126.          appropriate grounds.

  128.          Some of the cheaper 9 pin cables DO NOT SUPPORT all
  129.          necessary signal lines.  If you are in doubt ask the
  130.          dealer where you purchase your computer supplies.
